Following internal and external capability assessments, a series of training needs have been identified to ensure that our Project Managers are fully capable of operating within their substantive roles, therefore the scope of this requirement is for NNL to work with a number of quality suppliers to provide technical and behavioural based training to help enable the project management capability to improve in the medium to long term. Although it is envisaged that the majority of the training will be delivered during 2019, NNL propose to procure a Framework Contract for Project Management Training which will run for a three year period to allow for continuity of training materials and approach and allows us to train new staff, or provide “refresher” training where required. Suppliers can bid for all, or some, of the Lots which are detailed in Section 3 below, subject to having the associated accreditation and experience. Section 3 also provides an overview of the initial requirements for the Financial Year 1/4/19 to 31/3/20, along with an approximation of the numbers expected. NNL’s objectives are to: • Secure a high quality training provider(s) who can provide dedicated NNL training courses, hereafter referred to as “in-house” training and who also has the capacity to include NNL staff on other courses that they hold for multiple customers, hereafter referred to as “open places” • Ensure the appointed supplier(s) has the capacity for the first years training to take place from April 2019 • Appoint a supplier who will provide high standards of professional service that are fully evidenced • Appoint a supplier who will provide excellent value for money
