INVITATION TO TENDER

Dear Sir/Madam

TENDER No: TR/19/0010

FOR: UPS Service & Repair and Battery Replacements

On behalf of Dounreay I invite you to tender for the above mentioned work to the terms and conditions in the attached Contract Data and associated documents.   Your attention is drawn to the Conditions of Tendering contained in Section 2 of the Invitation to Tender.

Please ensure that you read all the documents attached and that you fully understand the requirements. They have been carefully checked before despatch and unless you notify me to the contrary Dounreay assume they are adequate and that nothing is missing.

Your tender submission must contain at least the completed documents mentioned in the List of Returnable Schedules.

Please acknowledge receipt of the ITT and confirm your intention to submit a Tender by accepting the ITT in the Dounreay Complete Tender Management (CTM) System no later than one week following receipt of the tender.

Please ensure you allow sufficient time to complete and attach all relevant information requested, failure to do so may lead to the submission being declared non-compliant.

Should you require further information, whether on technical or contractual issues, please use the Information Request Form (IRF).  The completed forms should be forwarded to Mike Wade via the CTM facility and not by direct contact with any persons.   Use one form for each individual request for information.

Responses to IRFs will be circulated to all tenderers, unless it is of a strictly commercial nature.

To allow sufficient time for the Employer to provide a response to IRF’s and for the Contractor to incorporate responses into their tenders submission IRFs can be submitted via CTM up to 10 working days before the Tender Return Date.

Tenderers shall note that all communications regarding this tender process are to be directed through the CTM facility.   Any tenderer found to be communication directly with the Employer’s staff, in relation to this tender without express permission of a Commercial Services Manager, may be disqualified from the tendering process.

Yours faithfully
