RWM266 - Analogue Studies: Use of Derived Learning & Knowledge in the Evolving UK GDF Programme and Safety Case (1)

The rft has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

RWM will need to produce an appropriate safety case that leverages the UK and international knowledge base on analogues potentially relevant to radioactive waste management and the disposal concepts it is considering. Acknowledging this, objectives of the current project, to foster greater use of analogues in RWM’s evolving Disposal System Safety Case (DSSC). Interaction with the work of the international Natural Analogue Working Group (www.natural-analogues.com) is highly likely to be beneficial as part of this project. This forum usefully records the status of natural analogue studies in a range of international organisations, WMOs and otherwise. Where beneficial to the current project, the consultant shall engage with and learn from national and international peer organisations. RWM shall be involved in any such interactions.
