35/09712.30 - Manipulator refurbishment for areas, WEP and MEP

The rft has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

The aim of the PaR Manipulator refurbishment project is to refurbish 3 off PaR Manipulators currently in operation: 2 PaR Manipulators are located in WEP and 1 PaR Manipulator is located in MEP. Current operations within WEP (and MEP) are being extended to circa 2040 (WEP) / 2050 (MEP) and all 3 PaR Manipulators are to be refurbished such that they can support future missions planned across the plants. The scope of the refurbishments covers the PaR Manipulators (including the connections to the OH crane), masts and associated cabling, the crane down-shop junction box, control desks, PaR Manipulators control panels and opportunities to interface with equipment such as size reduction tooling and in cell camera equipment. All items outside of this scope of work are considered fit for purpose, with no maintenance required. All equipment installed as part of this refurbishment must be compatible with current WEP and MEP PaR manipulators systems, consideration will only be given to parties whom can demonstrate competency to perform a system refurbishment activity for service and upgrade of PaR systems proprietary equipment and warrant for in cell operation.
