WTSF TQ 107 - RFQ - Dounreay Oils and Solvent

The rft has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

DSRL have submitted the attached drafted Waste Consignment Information (WCI) Forms and single Master Manifest spreadsheet for combustible treatment of waste liquids from Dounreay. The liquids comprise historical stocks of TBP/OK, Trichloroethylene and Hydraulic Oil which have arisen through maintenance and operation of plant and equipment on the Dounreay site over a number of decades. DSRL intend to transfer the waste to the service provider in a combination of 45 litre Warboys and 210 litre IP2-rated steel drums in 3 no. consignments by the end of calendar year 2021, with each consignment consisting of either warboys, or a combination of warboys and drums. The waste will be transported on a curtain-sided vehicle in accordance with an approved Waste Loading Plan. LLWR request a fixed price for the receipt and incineration (and any associated costs) of this waste based on the volume and activity details stated in the WCIs.

This package of work will be awarded on the following basis:

Acceptability of being able to deliver the package of waste through to disposition  (Yes / No) Yes = 50% weighting.

Should a response of Yes be provided, you will then be marked commercially.

Commercial Price – Lowest Price = 50% - The provider with the lowest price will then be awarded the package of work (using the WTSF standard price scoring criteria).

A fixed price should be provided and be broken down into an unloading charge (if applicable), volume charge; and activity charges for Beta/Gamma and alpha activity separately.

Please provide your response by midday Friday 10th September 2021.

Kind Regards,

Fay Anthony
