Magnox will continue to deliver the applicable NDA strategic themes of Site Decommissioning, Remediation & Integrated Waste Management through Site Specific Strategies. It is recognised that Magnox can only be successful if the right strategies are in place to enable the delivery of their mission, known as the Critical Enablers (CEs): • Health, Safety, Environment and Wellbeing • Sustainability • Security and Resilience • Cyber Security • Research, Development and Innovation • People • Asset Management • Supply Chain • Information Governance • Socioeconomics • Public and Stakeholder Engagement • Transport and Logistics • International Relations Critical Enabler strategies (above) differ in both maturity and urgency of need. It is recognised that Magnox delivers well in many areas of CEs but more efforts need to be focused on delivery of and underpinned programme of Research, Development and Innovation to provide the optimal Magnox lifetime plan. By managing and co-ordinating and appropriate programme of R,D, I (and Engagement) the other CE areas will be interfaced and integrated with ensuring the most effective and efficient delivery of the Magnox mission.
