Description of the procurement

Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) is seeking a suitably, qualified and experienced Consultant to provide Ground Bird Nesting Management Services.
The Scope is for the provision of the following services:
• provision of appropriate licences from Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) for the management of hazards from birds
• preparation of a Bird Hazard Management Plan detailing the methodology and mitigation measures
• identification of control areas
• primary controls of falconry disruption and dispersal
• secondary controls of acoustics and decoys
• engagement with SNH during all phases of the contract, including final report
• regular engagement with the Employer’s Agents during the breeding season
• end of season report detailing the returns sent to SNH
