Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) is seeking to award a Framework Agreement to a single Consultant to act as a Strategic Partner to provide Crane Lifecycle Management Services that will be required to support decommissioning activities on the Dounreay Site.
The proposed Framework Agreement has a four year duration (2 + 1 + 1) and the anticipated of value of the Contracts that maybe awarded through the Framework Agreement is approximately £2M. The duration of the Framework Agreement is Janaury 2018 through to December 2021

Description of the procurement

Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) is seeking to award a Framework Agreement to a single Consultant to act as a Strategic Partner to provide Crane Lifecycle Management Services that will be required to support decommissioning activities on the Dounreay Site.
The proposed Framework Agreement has a four year duration (2 + 1 + 1) and the anticipated value of Contracts that may be awarded through the Framework Agreement is approximately £2M. The duration of the Framework Agreement is Janaury 2018 through to December 2021.
The scope of services comprises of the following activities:
Assist DSRL with third party inspection reports by providing advice on how to deal with the report findings and how to close out any actions placed on DSRL in the most cost effective manner
Assist DSRL to prolong the life of the cranes / lifting equipment within the facilities
Assist DSRL to source alternative parts / components / systems of the cranes / lifting equipment that are obsolete
Manage / undertake crane / lifting equipment upgrades on behalf of DSRL
