  • Extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable for the contracting authority and in accordance with the strict conditions stated in the directive
Explanation
Following an ONR intervention audit it was found a number of Sellafield Ltd’s existing workshop machinery fell short of PUWER regulations In order to ensure compliance and meet regulatory expectations Sellafield Ltd has taken the decision to procure a Universal Milling Machine in order to remedy the issue as quickly as possible.
