Description of the procurement

The supply & regeneration service of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) & transportation of mobile filter units (MFU's) to and from the Groundwater Plant at Harwell Site & the Supplier's treatment site. The GAC is industrial grade and is likely to contain low levels of PCB's. The Supplier must have experience and hold the appropriate Environmental Permits & Licenses. The Supplier must be able to support a turn-around service of 2 MFU's within 3 days of collection and treat 15m3 of GAC within each unit. The GAC filter medium must allow 2000m3/d through the groundwater plant.
