Description of renewals:  
A two year contract (24 months) for the period 1 December 2021 to the 30 November 2023, with an option to extend by mutual agreement for a further three years on a 1+1+1 basis.
Total estimated value is based on the 5 year duration.

Envisaged minimum number: 5
Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates:
• The top five scoring bids in Section 6 who have attained all PASSES in the other sections will be selected for stage 2 – invitation to tender.
• In the event there is a tie for fifth place all bidders having the same mark will also be invited to stage 2. Those in sixth place or lower will not be invited to stage 2 and will be excluded from the invitation to tender.

Additional information

Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) is the site licence company responsible for the clean-up and demolition of Britain’s former centre of fast reactor research and development.
DSRL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). It is funded by the NDA to deliver the site closure programme.
