A new contract will need to be established in December 2022 to successfully deliver the overall project scope and train the NTS Rail drivers by the ‘go-live’ date identified by Network Rail.
The overall scope is split into multiple elements:
• A static simulator (made to resemble the inside of an active locomotive) (Hardware & Software);
• 10 desktop simulators (Hardware & Software);
• Three Year support/maintenance contract.
