DSRL requires an Accommodation Unit to support waste operations. The Tenderer’s scope of supply includes the following activities in accordance with the content and requirements of the Technical Specification: • The manufacture or sourcing of an Accommodation Unit to meet the Purchaser’s functional and operational requirements; • The intimation, to the Purchaser by the Supplier, of the requirements of the foundations upon which the Unit is to be sited in advance to enable the requisite foundations to be in place prior to delivery. • Delivery of the Accommodation Unit to the Purchaser’s Premises; • The witnessed predelivery electrical testing and factory acceptance tests of the Accommodation Unit at the Supplier’s Premises; • Provision of a Handover Pack. The key features of the Accommodation Unit are: • The Unit is to be comprised of three cabins including an office, a kitchen/mess area, and a changing/drying/toilet unit. • The Unit is to fit within a designated site as shown in the diagram provided within the Scope of Works. • The Unit is to have a single connection to the mains water supply, foul sewer connection and mains electrical power supply. • The Unit should be robust, durable and suited to the extreme weather experienced in this exposed coastal setting. • External panels should be corrosion resistant galvanised metalwork with a plastisol coating.
